Nilima Sahay

I am Nilima Sahay, a High School Teacher in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India. It was 2021... the year when my fight with cancer began. I was diagnosed with Non- Hodgkin's Lymphoma Cancer in Stage Four. Cancer is life-altering, but I was determined it cannot define me. I am grateful to the Almighty, to everyone who has always been a part of my journey, from my family to friends, from my doctors to the hospital staff, from my Principal to my colleagues and everyone. My full acceptance of the cancer fact was always my strength which, with time and dedicated efforts, medication and associated therapy, helped me in dealing with the trauma and getting past the deadly disease. I got inspired to help others in similar situations, and that has given me greater awareness and experience in life skills. I am praying for blissful life for all.
